Senior Vice President and Chief Growth Officer
Dan Galdenzi, NASCO’s Senior Vice President and Chief Growth Officer (CGO) — the newest member of NASCO’s leadership team — is responsible for leading the company’s Sales, Business Development, Product Strategy, Marketing, Communications and Alliance Partnerships teams. Dan works closely with NASCO’s Chief Administration Officer to ensure that our existing Blue Plan customers continue to receive the outstanding quality and service with which they are accustomed. Dan is also charged with developing partnerships with additional Blue Plans so they too can benefit from innovative technology and realize the lowest operating costs in the industry.
Before joining NASCO, Dan served as the Vice President of Business Technology and Chief Information Officer for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Vermont (BCBSVT) for nearly eight years. During his tenure with BCBSVT, Dan directed the strategy and operations for Information Technology and Claims Operations. He was also key in leading a cultural transformation at the Plan to a “business first” mentality through his leadership and oversight of many projects and teams. Dan spearheaded the company’s largest undertaking in transitioning the Plan’s entire book of business onto the NASCO platform. Dan served as a member of NASCO’s Board of Directors, chaired the Blue Cross Blue Shield CIO Round Table and served as a member of the Data Board Advisory Subcommittee with the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.
Prior to joining BCBSVT, Dan held several senior IT management positions within the healthcare industry, including Vice President of IT for WellCare,— a Medicare and Medicaid Plan — and CIO of CareGuide, a population health technology company. Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in geography and cartography/GIS from Central Connecticut State University.
