NASCO Workforce Continues to Provide Unwavering Support During COVID-19 Pandemic
It’s difficult to believe that it has been over a month since NASCO became a 100% remote workforce. I have had no doubt about the resiliency of our NASCO associates and that their dedication to providing unwavering support to our Blue plan customers would continue.
I’m very proud of the work that our associates, plan customers and the various product portfolio councils have put forth to help address the unique needs brought on by COVID-19. Our portfolio councils have met regularly during the last month to discuss innovative approaches to handling provisions of the CARES Act, the evolving state regulations and the greater needs of the payer community. They have addressed requests and capabilities ranging from advance pay, new COVID-19–related services, new places of service, how to handle grace periods and delinquencies, telehealth visits and many more.

Eventually, we will start migrating back to our office locations in Georgia and Pennsylvania. We have developed a return to work plan that adheres to the CDC and WHO guidelines and allows us a phased approach to return to our offices safely. Information on our future opening will be coming soon. As always, ensuring the health and safety of our associates and customers remains our top priority.
